Founder & Principal, GVI Group

Grafton Ifill Jr. founded GVI Group nearly 25 years ago on a simple conviction: that Bahamian businesses and institutions deserve advisory partners who integrate deep regulatory expertise with real strategic vision. His foundation was built over decades in the financial services industry, having held senior commercial banking roles specializing in corporate credit — underwriting, structuring, and managing complex lending relationships for businesses across The Bahamas. Today, as Principal and a licensed Corporate Service Provider, he leads a team spanning Strategic Advisory, Real Estate, HR, Marketing, Bookkeeping, and Project Management — translating that same fervor into every engagement.

Grafton’s influence extends well beyond the boardroom. A former competitive junior athlete, he has spent 50+ years shaping Bahamian sport — from guiding an elite sprinter to World Junior and World Youth finals, to serving as Deputy Chairman of the Bahamas Development Bank. Through advisory roles to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Youth, Sports & Culture, he helped secure and deliver several editions of the World Athletics Relays in Nassau, and most recently chaired the National Sports Authority from 2022 through June 2026, stepping down to devote his full focus to leading GVI Group. It is this rare combination of corporate experience and civic leadership that defines how GVI Group operates.
